Houston Angel Network Lunch & Learn

Joe Milam, AngelSpan Founder, will lead a roundtable discussion focused on Taxes on Angel and Foundation investing and how Portfolio Transparency improves investment results, he will be accompanies by Andersen Tax MD Jason Graham.

With a background in financial analysis, portfolio design and management, financial markets, angel investing (ask him how The Band of Angels really started), Joe has an extended tenure at 3000 Sand Hill Road (clients included senior management of Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, Sequoia Capital, Silicon Valley Bank), Joe brings unique and historical insights in the psychology and motivations of angel investors.

Jason Graham, the Office Managing Director of the Houston office of Andersen Tax, has over 18 years of experience in providing tax services. He performs engagements for high net worth family groups and individuals, involving income taxplanning, research and compliance, estate planning and administration, family limited partnerships and trusts, and the reporting of undisclosed income and/or foreign financial assets from offshore accounts through the IRS Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program (OVDP) or Streamlined Filing Compliance Procedures, and Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR). He advises on qualified small business stock, stock option planning, equity compensation packages and charitable activities. Jason’s client base includes entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, business owners and founders/executives at early to late stage companies.
