About the Speaker: Doug Erwin

Doug Erwin is a serial entrepreneur with an extensive track record in leading both early and late-stage technology companies. In each, he develops a blueprint for building the business, creating a unique corporate culture, expanding the company’s footprint, and delivering shareholder value. He is currently the Principal & Chairman of RedHouse Associates; founded RLX Technologies, which exited to Hewlett-Packard; served as CEO of The Planet, which he grew and sold.

About the Speaker: Joseph Horzepa

Joseph Horzepa is a partner and co-founder of the firm with extensive transactional experience that encompasses private equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing, internet law, cloud computing, SaaS and other online business practices, corporate governance, contract negotiation and review and employment matters. He has represented a wide variety of clients, including venture capital firms and emerging companies in the Internet, software and technology industries as well as in manufacturing, retail and e-commerce, telecommunications and energy industries.

Prior to co-founding the firm, Joseph served as the General Counsel of a number of emerging private companies in the high-tech markets, including Internet Services, Inc., RLX Technologies, Inc., and PentaSafe Security Technologies, Inc. He began his career as an associate in the corporate department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in both their Houston and New York offices. Joseph is a graduate of Wesleyan University and a cum laude graduate of Brooklyn Law School and is licensed to practice in Texas.
