***This event will be broken into two parts:
Date: September 20, 2017
Time: 6:15 pm – 8:15 pm
Location: Station Houston, 1301 Fannin, Suite 2440
Cost: Free, but space is limited and RSVP is required.
This NetSquared event is part of TechSoup’s storytelling campaign, Storymakers 2017, which is focused on building capacity for NGOs to use storytelling to create assets for fundraising and advocacy. TechSoup will be announcing its annual competition shortly, and we encourage everyone to consider submitting a video.
Newbies will find a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with many opportunities to learn from tech-experienced nonprofits and experts.
Technologists, funders and service providers will be able to put their super powers to good use and grow lasting relationships with leading organizations in the community.
Activists and leaders will share how they use technology for social change: We’ll learn the true potential for tech through specific case studies, examine where and how community organizing can be improved, and explore where we’ll have to push technology forward.
