Tom Ren founded AECsoft USA in 1999 and served as Chairman and CTO until January 2011 when the company were acquired by an NASDAQ-listed e-procurement software company. AECsoft provided Supplier Management System, Supplier Diversity Management and eSourcing Systems to hundreds of Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies to automate their supplier management and sourcing processes. In October of 2010, Gartner Group ranked AECsoft’s Supplier Management System as the highest scored supplier information management system worldwide.

Tom Ren then founded Global XLR in 2012 based in Houston, Las Vegas and Suzhou. As an active Angel Investor, he helps startups especially Minority and Women owned business to connect with large corporate and government procurement opportunities.
