About the Speakers – Kevin Tapply & Devin Baptiste:
Kevin is the Vice President of Business Development at Techstars. Over the course of his career, he developed a startup software application technology company growing it to more than $8M in profitable revenue in less than 5 years. Kevin also developed his skills as an accomplished business and enterprise sales executive, working for larger companies like Motorola and ZOLL Medical Corporation. Kevin joined Techstars in 2014 to apply his talents to increase the reach of the Techstars network throughout the world.
Devin is Founder/CEO at GroupRaise.com, a social fundraising platform that encourages millennials to use their social connections and hunger to change the world by eating out at local restaurants in 50+ cities across 46 states. Devin studied at the University of St. Thomas in Houston where he explored finance and philosophy. He co-founded and ran Baptiste & Allan Consulting, where he specialized in economic development for municipalities. Devin was also the Founder and Executive Director of Reach Out, a charity music festival based in Houston. Through GroupRaise, Devin is an alumnus of Tech Wildcatters, a Forbes Top 10 accelerator based in Dallas, and a Start-Up Chile Entrepreneur.
