Valuation 101: What Is Your Startup Worth?

June 6 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

RSVP to Attend

Valuation is a critical piece of the fundraising formula. While placing a value on your company can be a daunting process, it has an enormous impact on the future on your company. Learn about methods for assigning a value to a startup company from Silicon Valley-based investment banker, Carly Levin.

***Light hors d’oeurves from The French Corner will be provided***

What attendees will learn:

  • What is business valuation? How are companies traditionally valued?
  • What differences exist between traditional business valuation and startup valuation?
  • At what points does it make sense to place a valuation on a startup company?
  • Why is your company’s valuation important? Is a higher valuation necessarily better?
  • How do investors think through a startup’s valuation?

Who should attend:

  • Startups in the process of raising capital (from friends and family, angels, VCs, or others)
  • Founders wanting to understand the value of their startup
