In 2015, women represented twenty-five percent of all investors. Twenty-nine percent of founders seeking early-stage funds were women, and twenty-four percent of all angel-backed companies were founded by women. These statistics are drastically different than historical figures, and those numbers continue to grow today. Join us for a discussion with two of Houston’s most active women angel investors, Juliana Garaizar (Managing Director of the Houston Angel Network) and Diana Murakhovskaya (Co-founder of Monarq), as they take a deep dive into this growing and changing landscape and offer insights into how to become a successful angel investor as a woman.
