Station Houston recently announced its part in hosting a 2017 Challenge Cup pitch competition. In its fifth year, the Challenge Cup competition was started by D.C.startup incubator 1776 and investment firm Revolution. This competition promotes entrepreneurial growth and “the creation of startup ecosystems” outside of Silicon Valley. The Challenge Cup will span four months and will be hosted by 75 cities. The winning startups from each city, including Houston, will then advance to the global competition in November. Station Houston wishes Houstonian startups the best of luck!
